Tool Kit Distribution Program for Rural Artisans

Unique Welfare Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles (Handicraft Department),is implementing the Tool Kit Distribution Program for Rural Artisans to empower traditional artisans by providing them with essential tools and training.

Objective

The program aims to equip rural artisans with high-quality toolkitstailored to their craft, enabling them to enhance productivity, refine their skills, and improve their economic well-being. By supporting artisans with the right tools, we are fostering self-reliance and preserving India’s rich handicraft traditions.

Key Highlights of the Program

  1. — Distribution of Essential Tools: Artisans receive specialized toolkits designed for their craft, including hand tools, carving sets, weaving equipment, and more.
    — Skill Development Training: Hands-on training sessions are conducted to help artisans maximize the use of modern and traditional tools.
    — Enhancing Livelihood Opportunities: Providing the necessary resources allows artisans to scale up their production, increase income, and access wider markets.
    — Promotion of Traditional Handicrafts: Strengthening rural craftsmanship and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.

Self Help Groups

Unique Welfare Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering rural communities by fostering self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods through Self-Help Groups (SHGs). So far, we have successfully formed more than 150 SHGs, helping individuals—especially women—gain financial independence and entrepreneurial skills.

Our impact goes beyond just formation; over 10 of our SHGs are officially registered under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), enabling them to access government support, financial assistance, and training programs for enhanced economic growth. Through capacity-building initiatives, micro-financing, and skill development, we ensure these groups thrive and contribute to their communities’ well-being.

By strengthening SHGs, we aim to create a future where rural communities are self-sufficient and economically empowered. Join us in making a difference!
